Richard Coffin receives his CFA designation!

WDS proudly announces that Richard Coffin, the newest face at the company, has received his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. The CFA is one of the most respected professional finance designations, considered a “gold standard” in the field of investment analysis. CFA holders have thoroughly studied a spectrum of topics ranging from economics to stock options and are held to ethical standards that go well beyond the legal requirements of the field. Achieving the charter requires candidates to pass three levels of exams and meet applicable experience requirements; the completion rate of the full charter for the past 10 years is under 13%.

Richard joined the team a little over two years ago, bringing with him a passion for investments, education, and entrepreneurship. Richard worked towards his designation while learning from industry veterans, adopting the WDS framework and philosophy as his own. Richard’s achievement demonstrates his commitment to the WDS principles of knowledge, discipline, and integrity, and speaks to his strong work ethic.
