The strong performance has allowed the Loonie to appreciate to levels not seen since 2015. At the same time, inflation concerns are causing interest rates to rise, with investors selling out of fixed income instruments. Oddly enough this hasn\u2019t reflected in gold prices; the precious metal is actually down year-to-date.
